The gulf of Gocek is, due to its well protected geographical formations, one of the most important spots of yacht tourism. Boarding starts at 11.00 am from Gocek Harbor. After the harbor procedures have been completed, we will cruise to Sarsala Bay for lunch and a swimming break.
To get a taste of paradise you will enjoy diving into the clear waters of this magnificent bay with its unspoiled nature. You will be overwhelmed by its beauty.
In the afternoon, we will cruise towards Cleopatra Bay ( Sunken Bath Cove ). Under water there are historical remains of a bath. The bay is named after Cleopatra, because she have visited and bathed here on several occasions. During your lunch and swimming break in this bay, you will witness the most magnificent shades of blue water. We will cruise to Aga harbor for dinner and overnight stay.
In the morning we will leave Aga harbor and sail towards Butterfly Valley.
This Valley; is located in the Oludeniz region at the foothill of Babadag mountain. Not only for its natural assets and surrounding steep walls up to 350 meters, also the valley attracts attention with its endemic plant species. The Valley does its right to be called the ‘Butterfly Valley’, because it is home to more than eighty butterfly species and including the ‘Jersey Tiger’.
After breakfast and swimming break, we will cruise towards Oludeniz (Blue Lagoon), which is a lake as its name suggests. We anchor here for a long swim break and lunch.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at Gemiler Island ( Aya Nikolas Island ), which is 1 kilometre long and 400 meters wide. On the Island there are remainings of churches and religious buildings from the Middle Ages Period. The Island is rocky; therefore the foundations of churches and houses are carved into the rocks. The ruins can also be seen on the sea surface.
After breakfast, we leave Gemiler Island behind us and cruise towards Bedri Rahmi Bay.
Bedri Rahmi Eyuboglu; a Turkish painter, writer and poet came here in 1974 and because of his love for art he wanted to leave a ‘signature’ of himself. On a big stone at the entrance of the bay at first sight you see a fish painting, but as soon as you come closer you will notice it contains actually six animals, instead of only one fish. This bay was formerly known as Tasyaka, but after the painting it got its current name.
For lunch and another swimming break, we will cruise to Tersane Island, the largest island of Gocek Bay. The Island got its name from the Ottoman Period where this Island was mainly used as a shipyard. We will be cruising towards our last stop of the day, where we will anchor.
The variety of islands; from large to small, offering options with their low, high, deep and shallow waters, are gathered in the same area under the name of “Yassica Islands”.
Dinner and overnight stay will be in this beautiful region.
After breakfast, we will raise anchor from Yassica Islands and cruise to Incirlik Bay located on the southwestern side of Gocek Island for our last swimming break of the blue cruise.
After the swimming break, we will return to Gocek Harbor.
